To the media
ACCESS PERMIT TO THE PORT AREA
Representatives of the media wishing to access the port area shall contact the Harbour Master and Port Security Officer (+358 (0)50 303 9704) or in case he is unavailable, the Port Office (+358 (0)2 83711). The person who grants permission, informs the Main Gate Info. The representative of the media will obtain the access permit from the Main Gate Info when arriving in the port. However, the permit does not authorise visits to companies operating in the port area or photographing in the areas controlled by such companies; permission for a visit and photographing must be obtained from the company concerned.
ACCESS PERMITS TO THE AREAS OF COMPANIES OPERATING IN THE PORT
If companies operating in the port area wish to invite representatives of the media to their companies or to the areas of their companies, they issue access permits for this purpose. Representatives of the media should contact the companies directly.
PHOTOGRAPHING, VIDEO RECORDING AND DRONES
Photographing video recording and operating drones within the port area is only allowed with the permission of Port of Rauma. Please contact Esa Vuori, Harbour Master and Port Security Officer, firstname.lastname@example.org, tel. +358 (0)50 303 9704.
Representatives of the media can be denied access to the port area, if
- there has been an accident in the port area,
- authorities are carrying out some extensive operation,
- authorities have requested that representatives of the media not be allowed access to the area,
- the Gate has been informed of some exceptional situation in the port area that is still being examined or
- the Gate personnel is otherwise aware of an exceptional situation in the area.
The Gate personnel will attempt to announce as soon as possible a contact person who can be contacted to request further information and information about when access permits can be issued.
If necessary, a news release will be issued to the media by a representative of Port of Rauma or the authorities regarding exceptional conditions in the area.
