REGISTRATION AS PORT SERVICE PROVIDER UNDER REGULATION (EU) 2017/352 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL
Port of Rauma Ltd opens the registration of port service providers as of 24.3.2019. Registration shall be submitted to Port of Rauma Ltd, by email: office(at)portofrauma.com, or by post: Hakunintie 19, 26100 Rauma, Finland. The registration shall be accompanied by documents which demonstrate the fulfilment of the minimum requirements.
Port of Rauma Ltd issues the decision on the right to provide port services within a reasonable period of time after the submission of the notification. Regulation (EU) 2017/352 defines a reasonable period as no longer than 4 months. If required, Port of Rauma will request further clarifications. The decision is issued to the service provider for information and can be appealed against in accordance with Finnish national laws.
Port of Rauma Ltd will review the compliance of the operation of the service providers with the minimum requirements on a regular basis and Port of Rauma Ltd shall have the right to unilaterally revoke the right to provide port services, if the service provider fails to fulfil the minimum requirements despite a request to do so.
The service-specific minimum requirements are attached. The English version of the minimum requirements are a translation. In the event of any discrepancies, the original Finnish version of the minimum requirements will prevail.
