Metsä Group’s Finnish investment projects are progressing – the world’s most modern sawmill is being built in Rauma

Metsä Fiber, part of the Metsä Group, has decided to build the world’s most modern sawmill in Rauma. The value of the investment is approximately EUR 200 million. Construction work will begin in spring 2020. Production is scheduled to start at the sawmill during the third quarter of 2022.
